IAP Statement on Science and Technology for Disaster Risk Reduction

The document “Science and Technology for Disaster Risk Reduction” was published today by IAP (InterAcademy Partnership for Science, www.interacademies.net), an organization that brings together over one hundred national academies of sciences all over the world. Following the “Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 ” promoted by the United Nations, the document highlights the essential role of scientific and technological research in the new new global strategies needed
