Emergency plans for hydrogeological risk

The module is centered on emergency management as a non-structural countermeasure against hydro-geological risk in mountain environments, and follows a conceptual chain starting from hazard identification, then moving through risk assessment by scenario modeling, finally arriving at risk mitigation by designing appropriate plans for action during calamitous events. This main focus is complemented with needed insight into natural processes involved, mathematical/numerical modelling tools, warning systems, engineering solutions.
